Carousel
 

Like all limited edition models the Cortina Carousel was a dressed up model of a standard Cortina. Mechanically there were no changes but Ford claimed 18 changes to trim and equipment. Only 6000 Carousels (saloons and estates) were built. Every one had a 2 tone paint scheme in 3 colour combinations (grey, green and brown - see pictures) with 2 engine sizes (1.3 and 1.6 )
 

Crusader
 

The Crusader was the 2nd special edition model with lots of trim and equipment changes. There were 30,000 Crusaders built in saloon and estates but with 3 engine sizes 1.3 and 1.6 and 2.0. This time 2 tone paint was optional. Special features were bonnet pin striping, body decals, chrome wheel trims, ghia styled seats in Durham velour, cut pile carpets and a long centre console with fitted radio.
