MK5 Cortina - Colour and Trim

The new Cortina is available with a choice of up to 14 different body colours - six bright standard paints, two signal colours and six metallics. Of these, the following seven are newly introduced for the 1980 model range:

To complement these colours, each model in the Cortina line-up has its own practical trim style, again with a choice of colours depending on the exterior paint - Blue, Tan, Red (introduced for the Cortina for 1980) and the new Bitter Chocolate.

The standard trim fitted to each Cortina  is as follows:

Cortina Saloon - practical vinyl trim.
Cortina L - well established Savannah fabric trim.
Cortina GL - new, stylish Windsor fabric trim.
Cortina Ghia - a plush and luxurious combination of new Durham fabric plus the popular crushed velour material.
